Lowry/Dragic Ellis/Lee Morris/T-Will/Parsons(We dont know how he'll fit in the NBA,so i put Twill infront) Patterson/Scola Donatas Mo/Chuck/Thabeet So, goodbye Kmart,Flynn,Budinger,Hill,etc. I think we can top last seasons 43-39 & potentially make the playoffs.
I'm glad you asked this question. It certainly hasn't been answered in numerous threads, interviews with Morey and recent press conferences.
No way both Marcus and Motiejunas start right off the bat. Morey hinted that they don't expect much from either in year 1 so seeing them in the rotation from the start would even be a surprise. Morris could be in the rotation due to necessity if we don't make any changes to our SF position between now and opening night.
I don't think there is a rotation right now though. McHale said that he's going to play the best, so I'm assuming the best in training camp, and just go from there. So at least this way everyone can get a shot at trying to make the new rotation, and it doesn't automatically go to the guys who were in Adelman's rotation.
Morey said the starting lineup is pretty much set as of now. Of course you shouldn't believe everything Morey tells you, but he also said things along the line: "flynn will have to earn his way into the rotation" and "Marcus Morris and Montiejunas will have a tough time cracking the PF spot" Seems to me like everyone will have a shot to beat the starters, but there's precedence there. I don't think they will much turnover until midseason where some trades clear up space.
You are insane brother. We won't be giving up Martin, Flynn, Budinger, and Hill for Ellis. Scola won't be benched for Patterson.
The answer to your question is yes, Motiejunas is playing with the Rockets this coming season. Barring a lockout, of course.
Morey comented in one press conference that I heard or maybe it was just an interview that they would bring D-Mo as soon as possible. He said that there were no contract issues but there appearently is something concerning DMo that he can not discuss at this time.
