Anyone else notice Flynn's cap is different as if they got it from some forgotten closet at the last minute? LOL
After watching the press conference I´m really rooting for Flynn... he seems like a great guy that is really humbled, but ready to do everything he needs to do to succeed. I really hope he can be a big piece for this team. D-Mo sounds like a punk... he will be very humbled in a couple of months. I hope he has the work ethic to overcome that. Actually, maybe it`d be best if he stayed in Europe for another year. Morris keeps on insisting he can guard every position. If he can guard 3s, he might even develope into an all-star - I really like his offensive game and his attitude. He is a proven winner and a guy that takes pride in his game. I just hope he can defend 3s. And the Chandler Parsons Project (really great nickname by the way) seems like a cool guy - I can`t wait to see him in summer leage (is there a summer league this year?).
I sure hope that Hill and especially Thabeet are catching on to what Mchale is teaching them in their workouts. He said their getting after it every day. If we can get at least 24 minutes quality minutes out of Thabeet that would be great.
I get the feeling D-Mo's going to have to show some Mo-D before he can talk trash about Dwight Howard. I think he and Marcus may be in for a rude awakening. Humorous press conferences are awesome.... I thought Joey Dorsey's was hilarious! I remember Derrick Chievous talking trash way back when, too. Hell, that fool showed up to the press conference with a Celtics cap on, didn't he? lol.
But that's exactly the sort of jerk who will get people to angrily call in, which creates drama, and drama leads to higher ratings. Trolls get ratings and trolls get blog hits. Note, I don't know if this guy is like that, I'm just commenting on what you said, and it's the main reason why I don't bother with sports radio.
Montiejunes seems like the type to bail out on basketball and persue acting if it doesn't workout for him. Definitely better looking than Pau or Dirk.
D-Mo seems like a complete idiot, if you ask me. It's like he is trying to downplay his insecurity by giving idiotic, snappy answers. He needs to be humbled. He and T-Will can go down to the NBDL. The other three seemed fine.
I didn't get the Morris pick at all last night and still don't to a degree. But I agree, if they really think he can play the 3 spot defensively than I have to trust their judgment, which is obviously superior to mine. If they are right than he was the BPA at that spot as well as fits a need. Donatas did seem a little insecure and snarky but he just seemed very much like a kid. I mean, he seemed to have a good sense of humor and personality about things otherwise. We need to also remember, the guy is foreign. His personality will slowly develop into a more media/American-friendly form but a lot of other countries are much blunter and truly don't understand that line of questioning. The whole "I'm going to ask you an obvious question that is basically a statement in hopes that you will take the bait and run with it." He'll get used to it and either change his answers and bite the hook or stay very frank. It didn't seem to me like he was purposely trying to be rude...just fit in and did it a little awkwardly...like any foreigner in a new country.

I do not know why. I just have areally good feeling about all of these guys as people and like their character. Teams need character. Winning teams do. These guys are definately winning type characters. They have the physical skills like more than Moreys past drafts with exception to Patrick Patterson. Very skilled and tall. Alot there. You would have told me we walk away with Donatas, Morris, Parsons, and Flynn? I would have thought that is the best thing you can walk away with without the Superstar draft scenario I keep asking for.
When D-Mo gets dominated by D-Ho please remember this post. Him thinking he is faster than DHoward is partial insanity. D-Mo is mobile but not a quick, fast twitch guy like Howard.
Because they have fun and act like they enjoy what they do? Oh and lets not forget they treat theyre callers like adults and respect their opinions even when disagreeing as opposes to treating them like they are stupid.
