I didn't realized that Franchise wears Petruska's number. I thought they retired it. Here's a question that's been bothering me. What number was Robert Horry wearing as a Rockets. I see him wear #5 now but I am sure it was a different one in Houston. I just don't remember which one...
wasn't petruska the one that dropped the champioship trophy in 94? if so he needs to be on the list just for that.
codell, I've seen a lot of people try to reference really goofy, obscure old Rockets on this board. your post did the best job of this I've seen. I can't believe you pulled andre turner and kennard winchester out of your ass. wow, I'd forgotten little andre turner. I thought he was going to be so good! great obscure references!
I have an uncanny ability to remember useless information and obscure moments and players in Rockets history. Its pretty pathetic I know.
Who can forget the Ehlo, Ehlo, Ehlo chants for Craig Ehlo durig blow out games? What about Hank McDowell? Dirk "lose under my legs in the playoffs" Minniefield?
didn't the Rockets also take little Jay Burson to the Rocky Mountain Revue once? do y'all remember him? he was like 5'6", a point guard from Ohio State with mad game. a whitey. then he got in an accident and had to wear a halo brace. he's pretty obscure.
Craig Ehlo is remembered for one thing and one thing only. We all know what that is. Dont forget about Lester "The Molester" Connor. Actually Connor wasnt too bad. Not really a certifiable scrub. He played with Magic Johnson a season or two I believe.
I think he's referring to that classic Jordon at the buzzer shot. He was the one who was holding him.
Scott Brooks should not be on this list. He was a fantastic change of pace with Kenny Smith. It seemed like his entry into the game often ignited a run for Houston.
tim breaux should be on this list somewhere. i cant beleive people forgot about tim breaux. he is the scrub of all rockets scrubs.
BILL Curley, i cant beleve we were so badly deflated in the frontcourt that we signed him, and worse was that we played him,,,,, dear lord............... oh yea wat about that big 7-2 guy that was kicked out for bad mouhting to Rudy, the same year as CURLY
Yeah, Chucky Brown has the third-highest FG% in Rocket's history and started all 82 games when they defended their second championship, but he's a bigger scrub than Mark Bryant, who Chucky beat for the starting spot. CBFC
What? you know Vernon Maxwell average 5 assists one season right? that's more than what Francis is averaging this year. Frankly, Vernon Maxwell is a probably the best passer(when he passes) Houston ever had.
