Any thoughts on the SF position? We've got three players serviceable:

    Marcus Morris
    Terrence Williams
    Chase Budinger

Imagine if we had one SF with Morris's versatility, Williams court vision, and Budingers shooting ability. But to answer your question, I think its wonderful depth but could use some more defense/rebounding.

I truly hope MarcMor pans out at the 3. Would be nice to see him pound smaller 3's down low.

Bud and TWill are like dumb and dumber...

I don't mind Bud, I just haven't seen much improvement.

morris is more consistent outside around 20ft and will be better able to defend elite small forwards in the long run. chase does better of the bench.

Out of those three I think Chase wins out because of effort and experience.

Another factor is if Williams can Defend the 3. He has said on more then one occasion that he feels he is to small guard to guard the typical 6'7/6'8 nba three.

If the thinks he can't hang his lack of confidence and mental focus will show on the floor.

Morris Could turn out to be Danny Grangier or Carlos Rogers I have no idea till he gets on the floor.

But I highly doubt he starts out of the gate just because of lack of experience.

Get rid of T-will. Go with Morris and c-bud.

Agreed. As impressive as Bud has been, he tapered off towards the end of the season. He's better off as an explosive score off the bench, capable of hitting 3s to give the starters some rest. Along with his suspect defense, I can see MM easily beat him out in the starter position.

Plus we're comparing the 14th pick to the 44th pick. Unless somehow Chase becomes a legitimate threat by himself and develops some solid D or some quick hands, I don't see him holding the starter position for long.

Last year he was able to start because, well, anyone can start over headcase Terrence Williams. This year will be much better.

I honestly hope not, he has no value right now and can only turn it around for the better because he can't be any worse.

I'd prefer he stays, no team will touch him via trade

    Mini-JVG rant coming...

Why call him MarcMor? Morris is shorter to type and sounds better and is his actual name. Or even Marcus...

It's Motiejunas that needs the nickname here.

No way, T-Will still has a contract - and Bud has hit his ceiling. Terrence still needs to show he has the 3 covered for offensive purposes, and Morris will show he has it covered for defense. Bud will be the odd man out.

    Hey Bud, let's play elsewhere.

Is Morris really a SF? I see none of his game translating to 3 like Beasley or Derrick Williams. I saw someone compare him to Paul Pierce yesterday. I see none of that either.

Why do people in the war rooms clap after they pick even though they knew who they were picking?

    Sometimes things don't make sense.

he can drive, he's got a great jump shot, can do great fadeaways, he play pf so he can also post up, he's athletic and quick and can defend small forwards around the league. bud on anthony or james was terrible.

It seems to me that this will be our lineup going into the season

    Notable Trades (if any)
Flynn + Scola + Jordan Hill + T will + 2012 (you heard me) first rounder for Josh Smith + Jeff Teague

Offer the following Centers the MLE or Less, but lets be realistic:
    Dalembert
    Nenad Krstic
    Try the Greg Oden experiment

    New Line up

    PG: Lowry/Dragic/Teague
    SG: Martin/Lee/Cbud
    SF: Smith/Morris/Parsons
    PF: PPat/Motiejunas/Hayes
    C: Free agent C/Yao/Thabeet

We just need a center that can block & alter shots, board and play some interior D.

We're set at all other positions.
