Sounds like former Rocket great Rodney McCray. I'd be happy with that.

Don't get this. This guy was an absolute bust at Kansas. He will be lucky to get 5 MPG in the league.

if Tyler turns out to be another Deandre Jordan, Morey is going to take alot of heat

Something is incorrect there. The last time I looked at the current CBA, the LTax was paid on the personnel on your payroll at the last game of the season. And Flynn has no relevance to next season as there is no CBA yet.

Strawman argument - both Battier and Brooks were expiring contracts that were unlikely to sign here as free agents.

We wanted to get out from under Miller's contract, and Flynn is a nice flyer. If we like Dragic, then we will pick up his option.

It's unbelievable how people stretch to make arguments against Morey.

I watched 15 minutes of Dontatas tape - he has nice post moves (particularly quick on the spins) and I'm interested to see how he turns out.

So even though I prefaced exactly what you are trying to accuse me of...you still will attack me for it.

Get a clue? You are telling me what he "probably" was doing and I'm going by the actual facts in front of us at this point. If anyone is reading into a situation it would be you...because you are assuming he did a physical action (laughing) that we have no absolutely no proof of occurring. I on the other hand, took what we had, print, and developed an opinion. You are developing your own opinion, which is fine, but are choosing to completely ASSUME he was laughing or joking when he said it. Which may be true, but with what we have right in front of us...is not. Thus, you have read more bizarrely into this scenario than I have. Making your comment to me, null and void. And also leaving you looking like a dumbass.

See what happens when you blindly attack someone with a ****ty hard-on for a certain player...you end up looking stupid.

    More from Stein:
RT @franblinebury: Re-try. Rockets unload $5.6M owed Brad Miller for $3.4M owed Flynn and have Dragic ( FRAN AND I MEAN THIS!)

He was suspended for 9 games and battled lingering injuries throughout conference play... he has MAJOR talent, as Yahoo!/Rivals labeled him the #1 overall prospect in the country this time last year. He racked up 32, 7, and 5 as a senior in Baltimore, and was the highest rated recruit ever signed by Bill Self. Don't overlook this kid... he's a flat-out baller. He's explosive off the bounce and has a bag of confidence.

I remain a big Morey fan, but I said before, he'd probably not pick a center, and would pick at least one PF.

I thought he would be the perfect choice for us , for now and in the future. A true offensive forward with versatile skills and a very tough player too.

He does have rather small hands for someone his size though (and small in general). But not as his brother's though (hand size wise)

    Josh Selby, YEAH!

To those that said he was a bust. He was injured. But he has enormous talent. Certainly a steal in this draft!

Before the draft, I thought we'd only have minutes for Hill in case of injury, and that we could easily trade Hill plus one of Scola / Hayes / PPatt. I guess, with Miller gone, if Yao is not healthy, we have:

    Yao?? / Hayes / Hill
    Scola / PPatt / Donatas
Bud / Morris / Chandler Parsons
    Martin / Lee / T-Will
    KLow / Dragic / Flynn

Until we get another C, we should keep Hill (who can play some C) and trade Scola or PPatt.

And the perfect coach to solve that: enter Lionel Hollins.

My recollection is, McCray was a defensive specialist, and Bill Fitch said he'd want to be McCray's agent if he had a jump shot.
