Rox unloaded $9.8 mil owed to Miller 2 yrs for $3.4 owed to Flynn and have Dragic RT @STEIN_LINE_HQ: Why would Flynn be available already?

Though we the team might of wanted to keep him since Dragic will be a free agent after next season.

Someone else mentioned this but package him with Scola to Miami for Bosh.

Stein fail. It's too late to get under the luxury tax line for 2010-11.

I would ask Kahn, maybe he's interested.

I wouldn't say he sucks. He's definitely a starter that needs another opportunity.

Not sure how this can pan out by trading him this early.

I wish we had a place available for him so his value could potentially be much higher than it is right now.

I think his value was probably lowered when Minnesota couldn't unload him. But who knows what they were asking.

Healthy, Flynn is good - -good enough to be a rotation player on good team.

OMG whats up with Morey and the 2009 lottery picks? Hill, Thabeet, Twill and now Flynn? Its not like its a bad thing, its just funny looking at it. Too bad we don't have a Blake Griffin, or Steph Curry or even a Tyreke

If one of them turns out to be a stud, then it might be worth all the trouble... some players get it after a few years ala Chauncey Billups/Joe Johnson

Those knuckleheads Thabeet and TWill will most likely never get it.

    An asset? OMG
    AN ASSET?
If Morey is already treating that guy like an asset, what do you want to be more?
Have you ever watch Johnny Flynn play in real game? I frankly did for a couple of years. This guy is bad, I have said that from the year one of his career. He is narrow-minded on the court, he doesn't have a sense of where his teammates are, he doesn't have the dribbling skill to create enough space for himself, he doesn't shoot long range well.
So, what do yo want Morey to treat him like? If I'm the GM, I'd tell little Jonny to live in the trash can next to the practice facility.

Collecting these 2009 lottery "disappointments" makes sense if Morey creates cap room or improves our cap situation by renouncing them all next year after the new CBA is done & we know the new rules.

Yup - that's exactly what I was thinking. He who has cap room at the start of the new CBA will be in a good position to take advantage of a relatively small market of buyers for FAs in the next couple of years.
