tomorrow. such a weird feeling to know your life is going to change so much, but have no idea what to expect. kinda wanna puke.
If you are anything like me, there are going to be so many feelings running through you tomorrow you won't know what to do.
ADVICE: After she delivers the baby, the doc will have her delivery the placenta. DO NOT WATCH THAT Look at your baby. Don't watch the delivery of the placenta! Trust me on this one.
Congrats Blake. No advice to add, just a hearty good luck to you and the missus. Moes, I thought you promised us you would never reproduce! bad moes! kidding of course, congrats bro.
It wasn't my fault man! Birth control is only so effective, ol' moes slipped one past the goalie. Now the world must be subjected to my lineage.
If you have relatives and friends dropping by (or staying with you), insist that your wife wear her pjs and robe for the first few days. She may feel like dealing with people and she may be really tired and just want to be with you and the baby. Wearing the bathrobe sends a signal to visitors that she is still recovering and offers you a ready-made excuse to cut off any visits/conversations. Also, the first few poops are really odd looking, but since it is your kid it doesn't gross you out. Good luck. And sleep when you can.
