Just trying to figure out why someone asking for resume help or asking for someone to vote for something cheapens the site. Folks ask for votes for things quite often here. What was so bad about his Pepsi request?

Folks ask for job assistance as well. What makes this one different?

He was blatantly asking for help with effectively a charity - Interactive After-School Program to Fight Childhood Obesity. I know other groups that took part in that Pepsi challenge thing. Nobody was looking to raise money for profit.

So you're basically upset that he pimped out a charity at one point in the past, and now is asking for help jumpstarting his career?

Heck, more power to the guy for being involved, even if tangentially, with a charity... even when he can't find work himself.
