Wouldn't want him on the Rox because of attitude issues (I mean honestly, could there be a bigger clash with our team dynamic?), but he didn't look all that "washed up" when he was dropping 32 pts, 6 rbs, 3 ast, and 3 steals on our asses in March. Really pissed me off in that game...
That's a combination of our soft butter defense and Vince having "one of those games" where his shot is on.
Carter's washed up. Overall a very good career but could have done so much more. He probably signs with Chicago.
Good question, and probably should have been clarified in the article. I found this: http://www.orlandopinstripedpost.com/2010/7/25/1586625/vince-carter-the-expiring-contract this was clearly a no-brainer for the Suns. Keep Carter at $18.3 million a year, or let him go, and only take a $4 million financial/cap hit. Also, quickly looking back on his trade to Phoenix, it does note " cash considerations", so looks like Orlando covered a portion of the $4 million "buy-out".
If I were the heat I'd definitely snatch him up. Carter is now just an inefficient chucker, but they need other scorers apart from their big 3. VC could spell either wade or give LBJ a few minutes of rest. Then again the Heat's main target should be tmac this offseason  Tmac/Wade/LBJ/Bosh/Joel Anthony. 4 years ago, this lineup would sweep the NBA.
I'm honestly not sure defense at the 2 > offense at the 2. That starting line-up (and entire team, to be honest) needs more offense.
He may be "washed up" but a washed up Vince Carter can still do much more than what Keith Bogans is doing on the Bulls. Lmao at the fringe Rockets rotational player becoming a starting SG for a offensively-deficient team.
Well they started their careers together with the raptors now will they end their careers together? What team can the cousins both play for
Pretty much sums it all up. And wow, VC on the Bulls? Talk about a potential boom-or-bust type situation. Dude could either suck it up, at least PRETEND to play some semblance of defense (for the first time in 10 years) and take advantage of his sweet shooting stroke in a role where defenses will be playing off of him -- OR -- we'll be reading headlines next May or June about him pouting after being benched in favor of younger guys. Either way, low expectations are essential. Same situation with his cousin.
