I'm not too sure if it is. Casspi has wanted out of Sacramento since his rookie season. Those demands got louder this season. Knicks have been mentioned as a preferred destination. Issues with Westphal and Tyreke's special treatment there.
The Kings are not looking to shed payroll. They are already at the minimum and they don't even have pay anyone unless the season starts. They're looking for straight cash homey. Any deal with SAC begins with you sending them 3 million dollars, then you can fill out the rest of the trade.
