Born to Run has been my favorite CD since I was 14 and it is still my favorite, largely due to the Big Man. Very depressing for me personally. <iframe width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/CYHGh6lmSbo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Very sad but not surprising as I heard a couple of days ago that he had suffered a stroke. I knew his health had been failing him the last couple of years. One of the highlights of my life was seeing him along with the Boss at Bonnaroo in '09. Great, great, great show. Big Man - you will be sorely missed. RIP ++
Whether one likes Springsteen or not, one can't deny the power that Clemons brought to his music. The sax solo from Jungleland still gets my vote as the best of all time- yes, even over Davis, Coltrane, Junior Walker, etc.
I've become a big fan of "The Boss" and the rest of the E-Street band as I've grown older and man I loved what the big fella brought. Sad news but I hope he's up there playing a mean solo with the other big man above.
In memory of the big man, <iframe width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/R06FMoT-hkk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Gave me a reason to post this-up there with the best halftime shows.
