Yao Ming took the ball on the left baseline with his back to the basket in front of Mamadou N'diaye of the Raptors. He faked a spin to his left toward the middle of the court, whirled like a dervish back to his left, ducked under the outstretched and helpless arm of N'diaye, took one long stride and layed in a perfect finger roll.

"Don't make me say it," Steve Francis said. "Don't make me use the name to describe that move. But I looked into the stands and over to our bench right after, and I saw it in everybody's eyes, on their lips."

    Hakeem Olajuwon.

Everyone in chat began screaming "Dreamshake" on that move... that was really an impressive move. Now if only he were that explosive on defense.

To be hornest, I was a casual Rox fan. I kinda forgot how Dream played the game, but when I saw Yao Ming pulled that move, the memory came back.

Whether it reminds people of Dreamshake or not, I am hoping Yao creates his own shots and be known for them. I

also want his defense to go up pretty soon (like raising hands while defending and being aggressive with the boards.

I was at the pregame when Yao was practicing his post ups. He had a hard time hitting his shots when nobody was bodying him, but when someone did, most of his hook shots, and fadeaways went in. It was just cool to see him successfully use it in the game. His hook shot is definitely going to be a weapon.

That sure reminded me of the Dream. Ming is going to be a very special player. :)

Everytime I see Mingerroll, I keep thinking to myself somebody is going to screw up in the sports reporting world, most likely at the Best Damn Sports Show, and say something stupid like "There goes ming with the eggroll, errr. . . uh oh."
