You could be right. But let me ask you this - if management was thinking we need to find our way into the top 5 of the lottery, what exactly do you think they would tell the press and season ticket holders?

"We plan to lose big this year! So look forward to that!"

No. They're going to keep talking about improving and making the playoffs. That's the only thing you can say when you're trying to sell tickets.

I'd rather have an exciting player to build around, or at least have fun watching play, than to be stuck in Milwaukee-land.

If we don't make it to the playoffs, I don't want to hear him saying, "It's all my fault. Blame Kevin."

Adelman 945 regular season wins + 79 wins in playoffs
    McHale 39 wins

    That's what it's all about

I'm sick of them continually passing the baton. I like Kevin. He is fine for now. Nobody's beating the heat anytime soon. Dallas has the best shot right now but if they lose one more game in Dallas it's all over.

I actually believe if we could get one borderline superstar at the 3 and Yao comes back healthy we have a good chance next year in the west. But the heat will be the team to beat. Now is the time to rebuild while they get their 4 or 5 championships. Boring

For retarted people, Rick is still coaching, you can't be elected in HOF while you stil working at least if it is not honorable, like it was with Jackson or Sloan that was elected in the same year as Stockton

it's still a FACT that he is NOT a hall of famer.

anyone calling rick adelman a HOF coach are only doing so for PROPOGANDA purposes.

btw, "retarted" is actually spelled retarded, you r****d.

False. We knew Yao was injured for the whole season and Mcgrady was going to get traded before the deadline 2 seasons ago.

Last season, no sane person thought Yao would remain healthy. He proceeded to fall down and get hurt within a handful of games.

This is the first season post the failed Yao-Mcgrady experiment. I'm looking forward to a potential move up in the draft and/or a blockbuster deal.

The team only missed the PO by 3 games and that was after playing terribly for about 2/3 of the season. I think they're only a good starting center away from making the PO, maybe even contending.

Why don't you go post at a BBS that puts up with your crap. Not only was it a stupid comment to make, but hurtful to some of the members of the board who have children with special needs. And _RTM_ could look for some different language, as well.

That statement would be inaccurate for the first time since it has been used. This time if rebuilding becomes the process and we trade or mobe a few players and develop young guys? That process is on Morey solely and completely with the players he provides Kevin Mc Hale. Kevin as a coach during so much turn around and young players being used manages to get us to the playoffs? That is on him to reap the coaching praises. As well as the good job Morey has done in getting players here who are good enough to win. However if that team loses going young? That clearly is on Morey for the talent he brings in and only him.

Yea the difference is we had a great coach with a system fantastic for our group of players. Now we have below level figurehead coach with a hand picked d-league coach chosen by the organization as an assistant. I liked our chances when Adelman was the smartest guy making the basketball decisions

Brad Miller just had Microfracture Knee surgery. Our plans completely changed. Without his athleticism and ability to hit clutch shots and make clutch passes we will not have our rock. I don't know what McHale has planned, but it's going to be tough without BMiller.
