I dont care for the Warriors. I am just glad I wont have to listen to this moron call the games for at-least the next 3 years.
WojYahooNBA Adrian Wojnarowski Golden State's determined to surround Jackson with a strong group of experienced assistant coaches and will spend the money needed to do so.
They better. I'm very surprised by the Warriors' decision. Doubtful this works out well. I'm convinced there must be something particular about Dwayne Casey that is roadblocking him from another head coaching job. Hiring Mark Jackson over him makes no sense to me.

Interesting. Similar to the Rockets' MO. I believe GSW is willing to spend more too. They're paying about 2 mil more for Jackson (6mil) than the Rockets for McHale (around 4mil).
I hope Mark Jackson is smarter than his commentary. I mean, people say Clyde is actually a pretty smart guy and the commentary thing is just a persona...
Too nice, maybe? I always hear that he's one of the classiest people in the league. Maybe he doesn't exude that "toughness" some of these people are looking for.
Jackson has the tools to make a really good coach. But its kind of a slap in the face that guys like Cassell, Elie, and several other guys are out there learning on the job, while this guy sits in the booth. Marc Jackson doesn't really deserve to be a head coach at this point. I do feel like he has it though.
Clearly!! ... In all seriousness, from a semi-Rockets related note, it appears Mike(or is it Mark?) Malone will NOT be coming to Houston as an assistant. Looks like he's headed for Cali - either LA or GS.
Wonder how many times can he say HAND DOWN MAN DOWN during timeouts.... He better get perimeter defenders
wthell! I dont know why people keep on passing Dwayne Casey, including us (I'm now officially on board the Mchale train, but still)?!?!
Can we start a Warriors Appreciation Thread? Now if they can hire Mr. Miller Time as an assistant... and his sister, I would cheer the Warriors.
