Yes, I agree. Cat is the worst. I've never seen him give up the ball on a drive. Steve does do this (3point kick out). But they both are low on the totem poll.
All that Cat knows how to do is shoot, shoot ,and shoot some more. I think that he is a great player, but he needs to learn when and when not to shoot. His field goal percentage is incredibly high though so far this season, so I can't complain too much.
Cat's line from last night: 29 pts, 8-16 FG, 2 blocks, 1 steal, 4 assists. After Francis' game of 39 points on 13-28 shooting, and 4 assists here's what you said in one thread in regards to his passing (assists). So were Cat's 4 assists "pretty good" or not?
NIKE, you're thinking stats. We're thinking the team concept. Did we win last night. Yes. But, it was not a good win. The team just looked lost/out of sync. If Denver shot just a little bit better, we'd be 0-2. There are just signs in our play that just look ominous.
Such pessimistic thinking. Yes, I agree that the Rockets played pretty ugly last night. BUT, they did improve tremondously over last over the first. Why not mention the fact taht everybody was involved more, that they scored 29 pts in the 1st Quarter, and when the game was on the line in the 4th they put it away. Yes, the 2nd, 3rd and half of the 4th were ugly, but the did improve over last game, and I believe they will continue to show improvment. So I don't see how such negative thinking provides any kind of quality insight into the whole team concept.
A win is a win is a win. It'll look like we beat the Lakers in a few months... Counts the same - butt ugly or not... Use the grammar too... it's "their" last game...
He sure did, as long as him and Mobley can pass to each other and then shot they will both be happy. But the team will be high in turn overs as the others never think it will be passed to them so when it is rarely, it ends up in a turnover. They are making it a two man team and forgetting everyone else.
Who's complaining of his shooting percentage? Who's complaining about the points he racks up? Quit looking at the box scores....Its his decisions on the court sometimes that bother people including myself...you cannot expect to make it to the next level if you ALWAYS have OPEN guys and he elects to throw up a difficult shot instead of passing to an open teamate....We can't make it to the next level if we play selfishly, we just can't...period...
People are complaining about all the shots that he is taking. He is definetly doing something right if he consistantly hits 50% of his shots. The offense is run around Steve and he has the green light. If you want to complain about a player that shoots too much, complain about Cat and Allen Iverson.
