heh what i meant is one or both of them can go off at any given night. its not like jordan and pippen where jordan will always go off and pippen simply complements him like robin for batman.

and yes, to me itd be robinson = wade and duncan = lebron, in the wing positions

Why the hell was Kobe brought into this conversation? Kobe averaged 32, 5, and 7 on 43% shooting. Crappy percentage or not, that's still balling, and no I'm no Kobe fanboy.

Back on topic, Dwade probably said that because he's the one on the team that has a ring and a finals mvp. If the games continue to go the way they are going, he definitely should end up with the finals mvp.

Yeah, it's fair to say that Kobe did have a good Finals against Orlando, with the caveat that he was still a volume-shooter just like AI has been criticized his whole career for being. When you are shooting around 40%, it's usually a good idea to try to get your other guys the ball if that is an option (and with Odom & Pau it's always an option on the Lakers). However, the Lakers dominated that series with the chucker approach so I guess it worked. Orlando wasn't going to win that no matter how the Lakers approached it, honestly.

Q: Ira, is Wade a better big-game player than LeBron? — Juan.

A: At times, such as Sunday. But LeBron has had plenty of moments this postseason, as well, carrying the load against Chicago. This is why the Heat signed both, to be able to ride the hot hand. What I don’t get is when the Heat win how there still is a need to point to what one of them didn’t accomplish (see below). The entire point of Wade, LeBron and Bosh was being able to win when a superstar wasn’t positively, absolutely, undeniably at the top of his game.

Whoever Juan is needed to tell Ira(if it is Ira Windermere) about what a microphone actually does. He seems to feel the need to shout out his questions while on the microphone during the press conferences rather than just speak into the microphone.

I brought up Kobe for 2 reasons.

    1) To show how great Wade is playing in the Finals, and why it makes sense to defer to him. Especially with Kidd holding him. If Wade is playing better than Kobe was, from a scoring perspective, then why not give him the ball?

    2) To show a clear example of what not deferring when someone has the hot hand can get you.

Say what you want about LeBron, but at the end of the day those bashing him for not trying to be the man or letting someone else be are basically bashing him for not being selfish. Hilarious.

I think it is more like Wade is Wade and Lebron is Lebron.

This is a unique duo. Lebron carried the team the last series, remember Chicago had better defenders for Wade....this time in this series Dallas has better defenders for Lebron and when the only person Dallas has that can check Wade is Jason Terry well then that is a much better option than Lebron vs Marion. A Marion who is having a flashback to his PHX days when he was a All-NBA player.

Miami's biggest problem is often times they spend huge stretches of the game with the ball being dribbled exclusively by LeBron or Wade. It seems like they take turns "being MJ". When they are moving the ball they get great looks for their teammates.

As soon as JVG talked that James was the best player on the planets, and Wade took the game over. Like I said before, Wade is a big time winner, James is another Qween, who is more similar to Barkely.

Don't get me wrong, the heat wouldn't be there without this guy but he just can't seal the deal, that's his biggest weakness which is the greatest attribute an athlete can have imo

The Heat wouldn't be in the Finals without LeBron.

The Heat wouldn't be up 2-1 in the Finals without Dwayne.
