Dallas needs to steal one tonight. Otherwise the series is almost over, unless they can come back like the Heat did back in 2006.
I'm no Mavs fan, but see them taking this game. Miami hasn't had time to shore up their frontcourt to the point where it needs to be. And Dallas has the size to take advantage of that Achilles heel. Besides, you know the NBA is ready for 6, most likely 7 games....Again, I see a tossup for the series with the edge to Dallas.
I'm also see the Mavs taking this game and evening up the series (tho i thought they'd win the first one n lose the second). The reason they lost game 1 was well within their control to correct. First of all, their bench including barea was horrid, Second Miami made a ton of 3's, third and most importantly, the Mavs were close or leading nearly entire game despite, Dirk, Barea and Terry all missing very hittable and open shots. Shots and layups (missed 4+ by Dirk and Barea alone) that they'd normally make. I expect more packing of the paint by the Mavs, more zone, more daring of Bibby, Miller, Lebron and Wade to shoot the three and for the Mavs to continue to run their offense. The difference will be the Mavs hitting their normal shots and Miami falling back to earth from the outside. Caveat: 11 -24 from threes is very unmiami-like, but if it happens a couple more times, this series is over.
People pick Dallas to win, Heat win, ppl say "everyone knew Heat would win" lol Heat will win this, as they have not lost at home yet all playoffs, and are on a huge roll. Teams cannot score against Miami in the 4th quarter in the playoffs, and I don't expect that to change.
I think Mavs take this one. Mavs shooters just need to make their wide open shots. And, give the rock to Dirk! And JJ, make your freaking layup.
Guess no one is making a "Rox for Mavs" logo? I enjoyed watching Dirk and Kidd taking out Kobe and Phil Jackson. They just need to continue making LeBrong ringless.
