Listening to how excited and joyful Kevin McHale is talking about being the coach (and in general when talking hoopes), I came to a realization about how Les Alexander's hires coaches.

SeƱor Alejandro makes you think he's casting a wide net when fishing for the head coach, but he is simply running through the list of Snow White's Seven Dwarfs. He's gone through 3 of them so far, 4 left to go.

    Sneezy

    <strike>Sleepy</strike> (Back home in Portland)

    Dopey

Doc (Re-upped for 5 years in Boston-- keeping an eye on him for the future)

    <strike>Happy</strike> (Just hired)

    Bashful

    <strike>Grumpy</strike> (Working for ESPN)

My hope is that Coach Happy has much success and lasts at least 5 more years. If so, Doc is the obvious choice to succeed him. However, Morey should locate Sneezy, Dopey and Bashful in case Happy's reign ends prematurely.

I don't see Doc coaching more than five years, it took big $$$ to coax him out of retiring this time. We might be stuck with Dopey:

Carl, you aren't as annoying as DD used to be but you are approaching him in the vein that I see your name everywhere associated with junk posts like this.

I know it's the offseason, but it might be time to cut back. You don't have to start a new thread for every clever idea that runs through your head. It can go in existing threads.

Next DD soon? From realgm.com, McHale Plans To Use Adelman's Offense. Do not know why OP hates McHale hiring so much when we all know Adelman was not the same page with Morey and Les?

McHale is a very tall person. Not sure how you got dwarf out of that.

It's also interesting to see some old-time posters starting to tire of your schtick. I personally find it on the whole very entertaining (hence clicking on the thread), but I'd agree you are starting to go a tad overboard.
