Both teams have reasons to be both happy and disappointed about the first half, but I'll say one thing: If the Heat can continue the same intensity and effort level on defense the entire 2nd half, major props to them. They will have fulfilled my pre-season prediction that their defense would be much more special than their offense. The way they are covering the Mavs quick passing is amazing, but can they continue the whole 48 minutes. At the other end, the Mavs are resting in a zone part of the time. Heat need to punish the zone, hit a few more 3s and continue clobbering the Mavs with offensive rebounds.
When Stephen A. Smith first reported that story, and everyone doubted it. That's when I thought: hey. This makes sense.
and that's probably game. marion making flip shots, stevenson making 3's, and lebron doesn't get a call going to the basket and misses a layup. dallas has too many shooters for the heat. and the heat have bibby.
After hearing that I wasn't surprised at LeBron's move. I didn't even watch "The Decision"...there was no point imho
I feel the mavs are the better team, but, of course, the heat has more stars who are able to make miracle.
