I just watched the end of the show and they were doing "ten things you don't want to say to Yao".....I don't remember them all, but one was (paraphrase) " hey Yao! heard you been working on your turn around so u can turn around and go back to China" Man, that was low......funny ....but low. Someone should let Yao watch the show. Btw, can anyone post the other ones.

That's what they do. Nothing personal. It was not racist or anything. They rip on Shaq, Jordan, Tiger, everyone. Everyone is fair game. It makes them unique.

It would help if they knew something about sports.

Jim Rome also ripped on Yao Ming. I don't like the dude, but at least respect him for doing the work, and having some facts to back up his opinion(s).

Why would anyone watch a show that has Michael Irvin on it?

Let's face it, WE would rip on Yao if he would have been drafted first by, let's say, the Jazz.

    We can take it.

I dont mind the Best Damn Sports Show, but i Freaking hate Jim Rome.

"That was a great great segment guys. You guys are all awesome." Blah Blah Blah...

Then he talks crap about players when there young. And then he when they become better and are probably forced to go on his show, then he prasies them, and stops crawling up the players butts and then starts having pinata hitting contests.

I hate that show with a passion. Everyone on there is annoying as hell, and there sports knowledge is laughable. I do like Jim Rome though......

Please....you can say that Tom doesn't know jack $h!t, but Salley, who I don't agree with the majority of the time, has been with Isiah, Jordan, and Shaq. Michael has 3 rings and was considered a top WR. The other John I can't speak for since I dislike baseball, but he's funny 'cause he's always angry at something and is always good for a joke.
I love the show, right up there with PTI and TNT's broadcasts...before the Johnson era. ;)

And yes, they do rip on everyone including members of the cast.
    It's a light-hearted show.
If they can clown 23 or Tiger, then Ming is fair game.

ESPN Radio was also dissing Yao before the game. They were reading emails sent by fans, dissing Yao. They said that "most fans think that Yao will be a bust", which is nuts.

i didn't listen to rome today, but atleast yesterday he never bashed him. he did however read about 50,000 emails from his moron clones that bashed the crap out of him. oh well, we knew this was coming, all ming has to do is ignore it and shut them up as he improves.

Ming and his supporters have enjoyed the hype all summer long. So, Ming has to live with the bashing. All he needs to do is to play hard and redeem himself.

If I get paid 4 million dollars a year, I won't care whatever people say about me.

The Best Sports Show on Fox is a comedy show. They make fun of everyone. A bunch of has-beens trying to re-live former glory. But, I will say that they do make fun of thmeselves as well. I skit about Yao is no big deal.

But more importantly, the Rockets have been promoting Yao like he is going to come in and turn the world around. Well, I am sure they expected to take some heat while he is trying to learn to play the NBA game. I just hope Yao is ready to take the heat he is going to get.
