Where does the Miami Heat's talent rank for all time?

As far as all-time, I'm not that concerned with that. I'm more concerned with the hoarding of talent in comparison to the rest of the teams in the league in present day. You don't win titles by playing teams from prior eras. I'm sure they would stack up favorably against the 80s Celtic, Laker, and Piston teams, but that's because they're way more athletic and defenses are much more sophisticated now.

 

Thats a curious response seeing as the title of the thread and hence the point of the thread concerns where the Heat rank for all time.

 

If there is contraction, does every player from the contracted team become a free agent?

 

I honestly think you have to put KG, Ray, and pierce in 08 over them as well. They were the perfect mix of a tough interior player who is an amazing defender, the best outside shooter of all time.... and pierce who can do everything just like Lebron. Wade will not be able to stick on 08 ray ray, we saw pierce outplay lebron in 08 in the playoffs and combine that with a end of prime or just of prime kg vs. bosh....did the raptors even make the playoffs in 08 lol...
