No problem

maybe no Pollard...but...

Kings are 2-0 after pounding the Blazers 100-72. Bobby Jackson was unconscious and Gerald Wallace looked great off the bench with 11 pts, 10 rebs and a block in 18 minutes.

I know there are a lot of Kings haters here, but personally I just enjoy the hell out of watching them fastbreak and move the rock around. 21 assists for 37 FGM...now that's what I'm talking about.

The Kings have a "soft" label, but they outscored the Blazers 44-32 in the paint.

And the world champion Lakers are 0-2 with the same type of injuries, so it goes to show you that while people might rip the Rockets because the Kings are winning with injuries you might as well pound the Lakers for losing with the same type of injuries.

... but look who's injured on the Laker team ... we don't have a player of Shaq's value to his team on our injury list.

Adelman is so so so underrated. His Blazer teams were all about his coaching. Ball movement, quick attacks, reliable D. Love it.

After Kobe and Shaq, the Rockets "last 10" players on the roster are much better than LA's.

IMO Adelman might go down in history as having some of the most loaded teams never to win a ring (late 80s/early 90s Blazers, the last few years Kings teams). I think his players like him, but IMO he has rarely got players to play above themselves or teams to play better than the sum of their parts. I also have rarely seen him intervene within the game if his players need something to refocus them (what Brown, Jackson and Riley seen to be able to do), all I usually see is him whining at the refs. I for one would not want him to be the Rockets coach.

The Kings are winning with there injuries because they are absolutely loaded with talented players. Say Bibby, Christie, Stojokavic, Webber, and Divac all went down. The Kings would STILL have:

PG Bobby Jackson
SG Hedyat Turgalu (or however you spell it)
SF Gerald Wallace
PF Keon Clark
C Scott Pollard

That lineup could start and still be half the teams in the NBA right now.

Sure....whatever you say.
That starting 5 isn't a playoff team....especially in the WEST.
I will say that they(Kings) are very impressive considering the lack of "key" players.

We lose:
-T. Morris
-Kenny Thomas
-MoTaylor
-Glen Rice

They lose:
-Webber
-Bibby
-Christie

Yet they still win.
It's called team ball....learn it Houston. ;)

Agree regarding the WC. Too much drop off from Vlade to Pollard and Stojakovic is still a better overall shooter than Wallace, but...

IMHO, add Vlade back in and that's definitely an EC playoff team.

There is a big difference between losing:

KT, Rice, and MoTay

or losing:

Shaq, Fox
