I went a couple weeks ago and it was pretty big. Nice, juicy burger.

Checked it out a couple of week ago. I was impressed. I was expecting a little bigger burger, but it tasted great. Also went with the truffle garlic Parmesan fries and could only eat about half of them. The smell of the garlic and parmesan was almost too much. The Burger Guys on Westheimer still gets my vote as the best burger in town.

    FOOOOOOOOOOOOD! My favorite topic.

It's a food truck right? That almost guarantees something special. Did they put a spin on any part of the burger? What stood out? How was the bun:meat ratio?

I went to Phil's Icehouse on Burnet (ATX) for lunch and was blown away by a couple of parts in particular. The bread was a sourdough. Soft and chewy with that great sourdough punch, it soaked up all the juices without falling apart. I hate it when you order a $8 burger and the bread is dollar store value buns. To make it tasty without resorting to covering it in butter and toasting like Fuddruckers is surprisingly tough for most places. Locally sourcing bread in my mind is much more important for the taste of the burger than the meat even!

I love going to non-chain places. Just went to Bubba's today.

I've got to try some of these food trucks. Apparently there's one that goes by my area that makes some legit asian food (not in Hou).

Love bernie's.... Especially since he posts up at my local watering hole. Definitely one of the better burgers and fries in the city.

Bernies is one of the best burgers in town, right up there with Petrol Station, Hubcap Grill, Christian's, etc... Also love their blue cheese fries with bacon and chives on top.

Throwing in another name in the hat: Sparkle's Hamburger Spot near downtown. Call in your order beforehand though, wait time is sometimes long.
