This is going to be a breakout year for him. He is playing like a new player this year. Mark it down, he is going to be a star be the end of the season!

I think so too, What a difference a year can make!
Jared Jeffrey also looks good, he is going to a solid player, but Brown is impressive.

I'll say it once, I'll say it again. Most Athletic Big Man in the Entire League. The Wizards were brilliant taking him with the #1 pick, and I take back anything bad I've ever said about the Wizards Management.

I'm a part-time Wizards fan so this makes me very happy. Tonight, they do in fact look like they could contend for the Eastern Conference Title. Jordan looks incredible, Kwame looks incredible, Stackhouse looks good, Lue is knocking down shots, Jefferies is inexplicably hitting three's, and the defense looks solid. Doug Collins will win coach of the year.

Damn, now if only the Rockets could excite me like this!

And I thought he was going to be a flop, just like Curry and Chandler are going to be(but it is realy to soon to say that about any of them). But dang, Kwame does not even look like the same player he was last season. Better than Garnett? Maybe not this year but look out Kwame might be better.

Wow!! got to say DC looks good and Boston looks awful (big dude just bricked a three). Anyway i've always loved watching MJ and now with Stack, Brown and maybe Dixon i'm really enjoying watching the Wizards.

Collins is a very well-respected coach. He as a history of taking jobs with down-and-out teams and turning them around. If they finish in the top 4 in the eastern conference, he'll most likely be coach of the year.

It's funny, yesterday I thought the Wizards looked like the worst team in the league. Tonight they looked like one of the the best. Some key stats:

    Kwame Brown 8-12, 20 pts, 6 blks
Stackhouse 10-10 Free Throws, 10 assists, 22 pts
    Jordan 8-15, 21 pts
    Jefferies 5-7, 12 pts, 2-2 3-pointers
    Haywood 11 rebs
    Wizards 27 assists, 114 points

Collins knows offense. Just an all around impressive game by the Wiz. And what has happened to the Celtics? Trading Kenny Anderson looks like it may have been a mistake, especially if they didn't even plan on starting Baker.

Kwame Brown has arrived! The Wizards are dangerous. Jerry and Micheal are feeding off each other. The next Pippen has been found!

I watched a good portion of the game and during the time I viewed Haywood was at center and Kwame was playing PF. In fact, the matchup I saw most was Kwame defending Antoine Walker. I'm impressed. What a difference a year (and MJ riding your back side) makes.

Patience. With some health the Rockets will be balanced, athletic and a playoff team! :)

Well, there's still hope this season! The Wizards looked worse than the Rockets on opening night, but they completely turned it around the very next day. Hopefully the Rockets do the same tomorrow.

I watched the game last night and Kwame looked nothing like he did last year. He looked confident and in control, very impressive. I thought from his performance last year he would be a huge bust, but it looks like MJ knew what he was doing when they picked him first. Not sure if I heard this right but I thought the announcers said he had 18 boards in the first game. Anyway the Wizards will be a fun team to watch this year with Stack,MJ,Brown and Juan Dixon and Jeffries.

He had 12pts, 18reb and I think 5 blocks in the first game I think. Looks like Ben Walace with a offenseive game to. The kid is awesome, the Wizards look pretty good now.

Ah man I would be elated if the Rox looked like this tonight. I think that they to can turn it around. Is it just me or should this team also be better than 2 years ago WTF, it's just crazy how bad we looked the other night.

Goes to show you that a lot of people online are morons, and the people in the NBA know what they are doing. No surprise.

Wow. I take back what I've said before about him. He looked great against Boston.
