Hell yeah. Kanter looks like a baller. I'm a little concerned about his knees, though...

If we can't get high enough to get Kanter, I would be perfectly happy with Valanciunas. That guy won't be great next year, but he really projects like a top notch Euro-center in the future. Not to play the game of name-dropping but...

    Pau Gasol.

Agree. If Scola were involved in a trade for Kanter and it didn't pan out, I could live with it. But if Scola were involved in a trade for a SF like Leonard and it didn't pan out that would hurt.

Nice, two of my favorite players in the draft.

This kind of talk gets me excited. But, I was pumped for a couple of months before the trading deadline, too. While I think we did well there, it was still disappointing.

    Here we go again.

If we're convinced on his knee, then this is the move to make ...14, 23, and whatever within reason.

I.m hoping it's for Scola and picks and not Martin. Actually hoping they would take Scola + Hill + #23 and #38. Then maybe buy a pick in the 2nd round. Or Scola, the 14th and 23rd. Then playerx +38th to move up in the teens.

That test would tell me he's got good body mechanics, which would translate to less wear and tear, less or no silly injuries, and solid ambidexterity. i think we will come up short though, not willing to give up what is wanted, but will have a good shot at Leonard.

Many mock drafts have Knight being taken at 3 by Utah, but i can see them taking Kanter in anticipation of a Fredette pick at 13.

Oh, if they could use just those picks to move up, that would be better. We would have better talent to use in a trade with the 38th. Sorry for the repetition. I just really want Marshon Brooks on this team.

I would love it if we could get Kanter. He may not be the best player on our future championship, but he is a great building block on what we are trying to do and probably could contribute next year.

#14+#23+Scola+Jordan Hill for #3 + TE (I think they have one from the Bosh trade).

Obviously I know very little of the guy. But, what I have seen he reminds me of Mehmet Okur. IF that's the case, I'll pass. Watch for Biyombo's stock to sore before the draft. That dude is raw but looks like a beast in waiting.

Honestly... he's not as good of an outside shooter as Okur and is better than Okur inside ... with potential to be MUCH better on the inside than Okur... he's stronger and quicker.

I like the kid alot .. his good enough athletically and skills wise.

But the big thing is his tough and physical for a centre... he played in euro pros at 16

we trade Scola and picks for him to the Wolves

    C- Kanter / Yao / Thabeet
    PF - Patterson / Hayes / Hill

    thats solid

Considering who we have at the 5 spot that's over 6'6", I'd take it!

A Centre is suppose to be tough/rebound/defend and be solid inside..

I was going to post similar thoughts. We need a bruising center who can defend the paint with blocked shots, rebounds and a bit of intimidation. Does Kanter fill that bill?
