i have a evo that i purchased last november. i'm selling for 200 bucks since they're going for over that amount on ebay. why am i selling it? i bought into the large screen trend, but i'm going in the opposite direction and getting an hp veer tomorrow that's almost half the screen size. also more of a fan of palm's errr... hp's webos than i am of android. the phone is indeed rooted (free wireless tethering), but can unroot if you like. there is a clear coating on the black front housing that has two very very small chips that aren't distinguishable unless you're looking for them (the coating has the two small chips, not the actual housing). also those familiar with the evo know that the camera on the back naturally protrudes out about a millimeter and there's a a couple of very small scratches on the outer part of the lens and a very small scratch on the lens, however, pictures and videos are not affected (or "effected"... i dunno) at all. phone is 8/10 condition at the least i believe. specs are 1 GHz snapdragon processor, 8 mp back cam, has front facing cam, 4.3 inch screen. a simple google image search will show the phone. HEADS UP FOR THOSE INTERESTED. READ BELOW the evo 3d is getting ready to come out (radioshack is unofficially taking preorders). just letting you know so that you're ok with buying last year's model sans 3d. however, there are new android phones coming out monthly in some sort of a specs race. there's the new evo 3d, infuse, pyramid, lg android phones, etc. i'm bored with specs now (hence me getting the hp veer). so again, A NEW EVO IS COMING OUT WITH 3D soon. this is the sprint htc evo 4g from LAST YEAR. the benefit with this phone is you won't be locked into a contract and it is rooted. anyone with experience with buying one of the new android phones like the evo 3d coming out off contract will be hella expensive, but then again... it will be a badarse phone if you like specs and 3d. if interested, please post on here on the board before emailing me at tigercranestyle@gmail.com aaron edit: forgot to add... i live in galveston, so houston area please. edit once more: forgot to change to 200. ebay listings i was looking at for for evos that were broken or had bad esns.
Would you be willing to trade it for a 42" Samsung? Nice deal though, I'd love to buy it off you but money is a bit tight right now.
will post pics around 11:30 or so. cam on evo was the only one i had and it was more than sufficient. can't very well take a picture of itself, so i'll see if i can borrow a cam from somewhere. lol @ moe and mig. the both of you would be surprised at how often i think/talk about that instance (share about it in meetings every so often). those were extremely desperate times.
as promised... pics below. couldn't catch the two very very small clear coating nicks or the lens couple of small scratches around the lens (again, they do not affect vid or cam taking). they are just too small to notice.

email sent back, dream. i'm going to put this on ebay for 200. considering that broken evos and evos with bad esns are going for above the 170 mark on ebay, i can't very well sell the darn thing for any lower than that. so... yeah... i'm gonna put it on ebay in a few hours for 200 and let the auction go for just one day (if that is possible). cf discount pricing is 30 buckeroos below that if anyone wants for buy it before i put it on ebay in a few hours and before the auction is up. btw... thanks, uprising.

Damn, I just remembered about this thread. I figured you had sold it. My little sister broke her phone so I was searching ebay for a new one. In an auction now and winning. although it has 2hrs left. If I lose it, I'm interested in the evo but I live in east tx....was in Houston this past weekend too...damnit. 2hrs from this post, I'll be contacting you if I'm outbid.
yeah... i've been going back and forth with dreamshook since this thread opened. he's been cool through the process though. the whole purpose was to find an in-town (or houston area) buyer that could view the phone before purchasing it. didn't want to deal with buyer remorse with the couple of coating chips and the scratch on the lens.. also today i'm officially ending my sprint contract before it goes into the next month tomorrow. it's too late to meet up (live in galveston), so i'll stick to the ebay route due lack of houston area buyers and/or time constraints.
