People on here treats Hakeem like he's god walking on water. I used to feel the same way until I saw his Beyond the glory story on Fox sports. He was a punk, hitting people in their back of the head when their backs were turned to faking a injury and forgetting which side was injured. Then going to the Raptors. People tend to turn the other way when their heroes have success. Like Kobe raping that girl, but no one even mention it no more.

In order to compare Kobe "arrogant prick of planet Earth" Bryant to Hakeem "was an arrogant jerk but reformed extensively" Olajuwon, please provide me with evidence that Kobe EVER reformed his behavior from being prideful and self-obsessed to being a benevolent mentor and a model citizen.

I got to shake his hand while working at the Super Bowl 38 Legends event a few nights before the Super Bowl. Him and a bunch of other famous Houston-ites. Totally surreal night.
