Where is the "Yes, but only if Matt Maloney is with him" option?

I've met him on a couple of occasions. Living in Sacramento he'd even visit the Local Mosques here and was always a class act. It was an honor to talk to him and he was always gracious enough to spend time and chat it up. I just remember going up to him and immediately greeting him with, "The greatest center of all time."

Hooping it up with him and have him teach me some post moves would be the greatest thing that will ever happen to me.

Anyone remember the old club from the 80's called Animal House ? Used to be on Kuykendahl ... I met Hakeem there, must have been around 86. I chatted with him a few minutes and bought him a drink, vodka and orange juice.I was under age and sneaking into a lot of those clubs in the area, used to run into Rockets players all the time at another one down the road called Razzins.

    Damn, what a silly question.

I met him in the locker room after a playoff game, I told him he was my favorite player. Horry said I told him he was my favorite player and we all had a chuckle.

He used to live around the corner from me. I met him once when putting a new mailbox in the ground. Really, REALLY nice guy.

And when you meet him at 11 years old? THE BEST.

I used to live in these ghetto apartments called "San Malo" when I was a kid. There was a mosque built right next to the apartment that Hakeem frequently visited. Everytime, he'd sit out under an oak tree and talk with his friends. We'd all walk by a hundred times acting like we were busy going to Target/Marshalls (stores next to mosque). He'd sit there and smile each (prolly thinking lol silly kids). Nobody ever got the nerve to say anything to him.

Probably most of them thought the question was silly.

Proof that polls mean nothing around here.

Otherwise we could draw the conclusion that more people hate Jason Terry than want to meet Hakeem Olajuwon.

<5% would trade Kevin Martin for Terry.
    >16% would turn down a free chance to meet Hakeem.

    Ok.

Is Moses Malones jersy hanging from the rafters in Philly?

Is Big E's jersey hanging from Washington and Houston's rafters?

Not trying to be a smart ass but I really don't know.

I'm not even sure if Elvin Hayes jersey is hanging from the Houston rafters. I know is Clyde, Rudy T, Moses, Calvin and Hakeem but not sure about the Big E. I would assume his jersey is hanging in Washington but I'm not sure about that either.
