Signing Wes Matthews and getting Gerald Wallace for nothing are some of the best moves of the year, what the hell else was he supposed to do??
Is it possible that perhaps the Blazers did a private internal investigation and discovered that Cho undermined them by releasing the Roy story to the press? Or is it possible that Cho discovered he was undermined by someone in the Blazer's organization regarding the Roy incident and that he confronted them with it? The timing it too coincidental with the recent Roy flap. It's gotta be connected, especially with how well thought of Cho is in the NBA.
I'm sure this has something to do with the fact that he wanted to suspend Roy for whining to the media about a lack of playing time in the Dallas series. If the Blazers want a GM who is nothing but a lackey for their players, they should just hire Worldwide Wes. Cho got them a fantastic deal for Wesley Matthews, and gave up basically nothing for Gerald Wallace. If it wasn't the Roy issue, I don't really understand what else it could be (unless details are being held). Bad firing, but from a Rockets fan's perspective, it's good news. We need Portland to start struggling.
Good news for everyone else. Portland has been one of the better ran organizations along with San Antonio who have similar philosophies as us and seem to always be after the same guys. Now with their management in turmoil, maybe they won't steal Brandon Roy from us again in the draft.
Given how Babbitt has pretty much shown himself to be a total bust already, you can't help but wonder about that.

Cmon Golden State, time to fire Larry Riley and Robert Rowell! Move Jerry West from advisor to President and hire Cho as the GM!
Blazers front office in turmoil. Nice. Thats good for us, any bad news for rivals is good news for us.
