Pretty damn funny... Spoiler The scene at the bridal shop was pure gold, great stuff. Also, Helen's character was fantastic for being so evil, truly grew to hate her which made her performance so great.
Hilarious movie. I don't know what some of the others here are talking about, but everyone was dying at the Alamo Drafthouse.
This looks hilarious... what's funnier is reading half the responses here predicting failure and just flat out saying it couldn't be a good or funny movie... Followed by mostly positve and favorable reviews by those who actually saw it...
Saw it with the fiancé last night..I laughed out loud a few times. Definitely worth seeing with your wife/gf
I saw it at the Katy Cinemark and it was packed this Friday and everybody was dying. We even had an actual bachelorette group in the audience.
saw it Sunday night, I didn't have high hopes for the movie after the trailer, but with all the positive buzz and the 89% rating on rotten tomatoes, I gave in and watched it. I actually thought it was better than Hangover 2, but my personal opinion because I wasn't expecting much with H2 since well, we knew it was going to be the exact same story as the first. The little things they tried to keep the laughs going, was probably what made it good. Too many sappy moments but had to get the cred of "RomCom" genre somehow. Kind of like the other Apatowed produced Knocked Up. Spoiler Was in a packed theater for a 11pm Sunday night showing, and I think I was the only one rolling when the *****buddy picked her up from the accident and was driving the car saying "look no hands, guess whos driving". Either people didn't hear him or most just didnt get the joke. The food poison/bridal fitting scene wasn't as funny to me as others thought. I'm not in favor of "toliet" humor, kind of like Jason Bateman getting **** on in the "The Change-Up" trailer. Terry Crews' cameo was epic..... "You gotta pay just like all of these other b****es"
Well, turns out they forgot to put the funny parts in the trailer. seriously that was hilarious and so much better than Hangover 2.
I watched the trailer again after seeing the movie, there was literally only one scene from the trailer actually in the movie
Great movie. Definitely not a movie tailored to me (25M) but I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I found myself laughing at a lot of the parts that the middle-aged women weren't and vice versa.
Warning: This movie isn't a clever 'funny for guys' chick flick. This is a plain old chick flick. And it's 141 minutes long.
