do you guys even look at the crap you post sometimes? people are already down on the rockets as if this one freaking game was the entire season. get a grip guys and realize that all the prognosticating that yall did in the preseason was BS and hype. this team has the potential to be good this year and it has the potential to be average or even suck depending on health. this is a very young team that lacks significant veteran leadership. nights like this are going to happen so deal with it and don't act as if it is the end of the f'kin world. take some prozac or zoloft and look at the positives and be happy....cato had a great game and so did stevie.

i am a diehard rockets fan but i don't have unrealistic expectations like significant portion of the posters on this bbs do. the goal for the rockets this year is to develop chemistry and stay healthy and to hopefully get to the playoffs. far too many people here expect a 50 win season out of this team and its just not a likely scenario. we are trying to implement a new offense...last year was almost a wasted year with all of the injuries...and we are trying to bring along two rookies, ming and nachbar, and a 2nd year player, griffin, who will all probably significant parts of our future and are all still raw. i know griffin has amazing defensive potential, but his offense still is not great. like i have said before it will take time to develop it.

here is a nice cliche for you guys....we need to learn to crawl before we can walk. i expect much better things as the season goes on and next season as well and i am going to enjoy watching this team develop and mature.

I do think about what I post.

I even take enough time to consider using CAPITAL LETTERS.

This is exactly why everyone is getting so upset here. We are trying to implement a new offense, yet STEVE had the ball so much, no one could do anything else. You mention crawling before walking. Well, our leader was running from the pack before anyone else got their shoes on. That's not leadership. I remember a 3 on 1 fastbreak that Steve was leading. He had a man on both sides and decided to take the layup himself, and he lost! He couldn't even pass there. But I guess I should be happy because he scored 39 points in a losing cause.

I'm truly a Francis supporter, but it's time he grew up and started thinking about the team and how he can get each of them involved.

Most of A-Train's recent posts have been filled with sarcasm but a lot of people are missing it and getting upset over it. It's made for some entertaining reading today. Especially in some of the threads where they finally realize he was being sarcastic so the angry posters apologize to A-Train.

    TheReason,

The point guard, the shooting guard, whatever, it doesnt fricken matter! The fact of the matter is Steve controlled just about every offensive possession, from the begining till the end. Steve had the ball in his hands, he directed the tempo of the game, and he played one on five most of the night. Its unfair to ask the other players to adapt to Steves individual helter skelter style of play.

TheReason, You've been defending Steve from every poster who criticizes his basketball play. look I dont care how many posters of Steve Francis you have on your wall, dont take it so personal where you feel the need to quickly jump to his defense every time. C'mon is that all you M.A.S.H guys can come up with -- "Steve played shooting guard, Moochie was THE ONE playing Point, so there!." get real, thats weak brah, real weeeak! especially when the facts are so undeniable to the majority of posters on here who view the game with sound objectivity.

There's a group of sportsfans that usually have that "alcoholic looseness" when their team lose. It's those same people who call night in and night out to the radio talkshows with their banal hyperbole and it's those same people who fuel sports riots and hooliganism.

    They can't all be drunk...right?
