Thanks for giving me at least one thing to be happy about involving basketball tonight.

Many of the New Orleans fans saw it is long awaited vengance, upon a team which gave them the shaft. At any rate I was at the game last night and it was great. If the turnout and volume of the crowd last night were any indicator of things to come New Orleans will disprove the naysayers in St. Louis and Charlotte. The crowd (during the second half) was as loud as any playoff crowd I ever heard at Compaq. They were not very loud during the first half, but there were quite a number of people who had not been to an NBA game in 23 years, if ever, and had no idea how to act. For those of you who do not know or have not seen it, The New Orleans Arena is a GREAT facility. It really is first rate and HAS to be the best of any in a small market. Sure it does not compete with Staples, but it is MUCH nicer than I expected. Baron Davis looked good ( but not as good as Franchise) and Courtney Alexander looked even better. Cannot wait for Dec 6 when the Rockets play the Hornets in N.O. It will be one of only 2 nights of the year a hope the Hornets are DEMOLISHED. Oh well at least no Saints fans showed up and ran out on the court.:D

Anytime John Stockton gets 4 assists and 6 turnovers for a game it brings a big smile to my face.
