So you weren't sad when you asked an ugly and fat girl out and she said no?

Because a coach shouldnt be judged by what he does with a stacked deck, but rather what he does under adversity.

We saw what happened when things got rough.

If you want a contrasting example, Adelman in losing Yao and McGrady still found a way for the Rockets to win.

The real reason Brown rejected the Rockets:
[rquoter]Yet a source close to the situation said it's doubtful that Frank would take the Rockets' job if it was offered, as the salary is expected to be on the lower end for head coaches (about $2 million per season for two years).
    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2011/writers/sam_amick/05/20/mchale.warriors/[/rquoter]

Anyone who thinks Kevin McHale has demonstrated more coaching acumen than Mike Brown needs to remove his head from Morey's ass.

According the news, he is interviewing with more than just the Warriors. The Lakers want him, too.

RealGM guy called it two day ago, again.

Sounds more like Mike Brown wants the Lakers, than the Lakers want Mike Brown, though.

    As building blocks:

    Steph Curry > Kevin Martin
    Monta Ellis > Kyle Lowry
    David Lee > Luis Scola

Sad to admit, but Warriors really have a better team

many player agents probably still yearn for CD to return, after all who'd give the Maloneys & Catos those ridiculous numbers. I'm shocked he didn't lock-up Buck Johnson to a max contact .

I don't understand, why do we have the better record then?

Don't be an ignorant, pessemistic hater - the rockets Roster is far superior to the warriors. On this board you generally hear a lot of crituique based on Morey's accumulation ofOne way players and it so happens that the warriors are absouletly loaded with them, yet no one on that roster (except occasionanly Ellis) is better than K mart.

As far as building blocks go

    Lowry=Curry>kmart=Ellis

    Luis>Lee

    Patterson> epke Udoh

Maybe not the better team overall right now, but Curry, Ellis and Lee make up a good core of young players. And after a few more seasons and a few more top ten draft picks, they will be in a good position to turn themselves around.

And my gut tells me Mike Brown is going to be a good coach for whoever nabs him.

Great, he rejected us for the Lakers! We lost him because we insisted on him being parts of a "wide net." Nice going Morey!

I don't really blame Morey for super stars not wanting to come to houston. I feel like they frowned upon houston because of the way adelman handled the tmac situationm (whether it was warranted or not). Which is why I think adelman was shown the door.

This whole idea that superstars dont want to come here is pure bull****

Free agents go where they think they can win. Melo put Houston on his list at the beginning of the season because of Yao Ming

Just like Artest did and Ariza did when they were FA's. They knew they had a chance to win, nothing to do with front office "handling"

Also the idea that one can get "superstars" as if there is some wharehouse or depot where "superstars" are plentiful is also bull****

The superfriends in Miami was an inside job and no other team had to a chance at those guys. Other than that I'd love to know who are these "superstars" that turned Houston down?

    For the LAST TIME.
Mike Brown did not reject the Rockets.
    The Rockets never interviewed him....
The Rockets never planned on interviewing him....
The Rockets had NO interest in Mike Brown as their head coach.
