    I know some are familiar with Lars Von Trier others may not have any idea who he is but Kirsten Dunst’s (she stars in his latest film) reaction while he announces this is just painful to watch….

    The controversial director has since apologised for his comments, after the Cannes Film Festival asked him for an explanation.

    'If I have hurt someone this morning by the words I said at the press conference, I sincerely apologise,' he said. 'I am not anti-Semitic or racially prejudiced in any way, nor am I a Nazi.'
    Tonight, Kirsten was clearly trying to pull the focus back to the movie, in which she plays a bride battling crippling depression.

    Kirsten Dunst looks terrific. Hope she got a cashier's check, cuz I think this film just lost its distribution. She really looks nice.

    heard this yesterday and I couldnt tell if he was half joking or what. That clip did cut the part where he grew up thinking he was jewish and that made him happy but then found out he was a decendant of a nazi.

    Wow. The worst part being the "[on finding his family were Nazi party members] which also gave me some pleasure"

    And I wouldn't crucify him for saying that he liked/respected some things about Hitler....if he gave a single example.

    I'll be nice and chalk it up to T.M.A.C. Syndrome, no filter or mental processing for his brain's speech centers.
