I loved Calc 3, but it varies from program to program. If you're doing partial differentials, 3d integrals and flux integrals then yes, Calc 3 is pimp...

...but take it with a grain of salt, my minor is in math, so I basically loved all my math classes...

Math major here - when I took it on the semester system, both Calc I and II were 5 credits while Calc III was 3 credits.

As others have said, if you did okay in Calc II, you won't have any problems with Calc III. When I had it, we covered vectors and vector valued functions as well as partial derivatives and multiple integrals. We had chapters on the Stokes Theorem and Green's Theorem in addition to a chapter that introduces Dif Eq but never got to those 2 chapters (I did take Dif Eq and Vector Analysis later on but they were 2 separate math courses).

Yeah it was Cake, but I made it harder than it should have been; I didn't want to wake up at 8 AM and walk to the math building so I skipped a lot.

thanks for the help and advice. I was second guessing taking calc 3 after doing infinite series and all that convergence/divergence stuff. I still managed to pull an A but not without some frustratiing moments.

You'll NEVER see infinite series and convergence again in calculus. IIRC as it has been years, the next time you'll see the series stuff in a math class is in Dif Eq, right before Laplace Transforms.

Am I the only one who thought vector calculus was a little bit harder than Calc 2? I did fine in both classes, but Calc 2 was a piece of cake and vector calc was actually a little challenging.
