Well, maybe if we actually had a team, instead of 2 stars and 7 scrubs. This game would have been different if we had Kenny, Mo, and Rice.

Steve Francis tried early on passing the ball to an open Griffen(twice) Moochie, Cato(at least twice) and they didn't execute.

That's when Francis started taking more shots and doing a decent job of making them. Thank goodness we had STeve out there tonight.

Man I agree this is a team game not a Steve and Cat show we need a game played with all the team

I think that was the worst showing I have seen in aloooog time

Where was the motion offence all I could see was putting up shot from 12 to 18 ft out and dribble dribble dribble till theres 3 sec left and shoot

Team Game TEAM GAME TEAM F***ING GAME GUYS

All I know is if the Rockets do this all year Rudy T will not be back ...

    Winners, Haters, Apologists, Realists...

If you think that Steve or Moochie, our 2 point guards, played well tonight you've never played a minute of organized basketball in your life.

Says who? You? Have you ever seen a team where only one or two guys play with any heart? Or does your idea of organized basketball not have that factor. I've played organized basketball and Steve played terrific tonight.

That doesn't mean he didn't make some mistakes, but Steve taking a few ill-advised shots were near the bottom of the list as to why we lost the game tonight.

Steve scored well. He forced stupid plays numerous times and didn't get anyone else involved in the offense. That is supposed to be his job. How can you say he played a good game overall?

He did try and get other involved in the offense and they didnt' respond. He did that at least as many times as he forced stupid shots.

There were times that Steve definitely should have tried passing before taking a shot. But I don't that's the biggest reason we lost tonight. I wouldn't mind the criticism if people weren't acting like that was the worst thing about tonight's game.

The worst thing about tonights game was that only Steve and possibly Cato really showed to play and played with any fire.

And it's not because the others got bored when they didn't get the ball. They did get the ball early on, and many plays went through Yao when he was on the floor, but nobody else stepped it up.

Steve deserves some criticism, but his forced shots are not the reason we lost tonight.

I was watching the sixer's game tonite and something I found interesting. Francis is playing a lot like iverson use to, and Iverson is now, playing like, a point guard?

By the way, Iverson's supporting cast shot probably around the 30% mark, and the reason his assist wasn't higher was because many times, it was second pass that yeilded the bucket. However, he ran the offense of his team, and was playing quite like a point guard.

As for the rest of the team it's a bad thing that they put in lack lustre performances too.

jlaw I think you have just posed THE QUESTION that needs to be answered! Centers have a function and should be playing as such.
