    On a side note, if i am not mistaken this commercial was aired in Malaysia. And if you guys heard and read about it, there is indeed a certain level of racism in this country.

    I think it is a TV commercial to promote racial harmony in Malaysia.

    The message is that a Malaysian Chinese boy can love a Malaysian native girl without worrying about her skin color.

    Based on the accents and that the video was sponsored by Petronas it looks like that was set in Malaysia. The boy is ethnic Chinese and the girl is ethnic Malay and historically there have been a lot of tensions between the two groups.

    Whoops I see another poster beat me to it. Anyway I am pleasantly surprised that Petronas would make an PSA like this.
