Brutal evening:rolleyes: He made Jermaine Oneal look like Shaq Oneal. Granted Jermaine is good, but we are not talking Duncan, KG or Webber good. I understand his offense has a ways to go, but I expected to see a much better defense presence and be able to beat his man on the boards if other parts of his game are not working. Perhaps we are expecting way too much of him. Yao and Boki I expected nerves and slow going--I am not concerned about their non-factors tonight, but Eddie has played heavy minutes in the league already and has had two full camps with the Rockets. I really expected much more, lets hope tonight was an anomly and he plays much better the next few games.

Good thing I only saw the last 1.5 quarters, but it wasn't pretty against a team with a really crappy backcourt. Big props to Stevie and Cato, good game Cat too. At least 3 guys brought it, we really missed the vet forwards tonight.

First of all, Scar, the thread title gave me a headache! ;)

Secondly, to a certain extent I agree to what you said, Scar. Eddie was one big disappointment tonite, but not the only player to blame. I did expect more form him, though ...... imagine if he grabbed 2-3 extra rebounds or scored 4-6 extra points. Then we were right there with the Pacers, and we were only playing like crap tonite. So chill! It's only one game and Eddie's 2nd season. I think he's gonna bounce back the next game, so will the Rockets! :)

    Finally, J. O'Neal is good.
