One game down, still have 81 to go.

    There is plenty of time.

Just because we didn't start out like 15-0 does not mean we should panic

Game over. Very disappointing game. Even down the wire, they still played Iso. I hope this is not a trend.

This looks like the start to another lottery year they look like crap out there

I knew it would take awhile for Yao to get it all together but hell he needs to sit and so do most of the team they are not playing team ball

Very poor start and showing for the whole team....

    3 words:

    Catino Mobley Sucks!

Will he ever learn how to play team ball?

    Lotto pick goes to Memphis.

Ming looked a bit lost, but it's not like we were pumping the ball in him.

Guys, you do realize that we were missing 3 vital parts to our team, right? The Lakers are 0-1 too. Why, because they are missing a big part of their O, Shaq and Fox. Calm down, it's just one game, missing THREE POTENTIAL STARTERS!!!. Some of you people ought to be ashamed, fair-weather fans at their best.

Atleast we have a reason that we lost, the Celtics just lost to the Bulls.

    Some positives:

love the way we utilize that offensive threat in Bostjan Nachbar, looked like a real threat clearing out for Francis and Mobley and standing with his hands on his knees

Looks like Francis will get voted as a starter on the all star team.

love the three guard lineup with Moochie leading the charge, cute fro. frisky defense.

Its better that were losing with Kelvin Cato and Moochie Norris instead of losing, learning, and growing with Ming and Nachbar.

The clear outs and 2 on 5 game looked good at times. never seen that before. felt like I was part of something BIG.

    I'll go puke now.

This team didn't have the offensive arsenals. We were without Rice, KT, and Mo are double-digits scorers something we need right now.

I guess when things do count, they revert back to the old iso way...

    LOL, what a BUST!!

THE BIG BUST should be the slogan, not BE A PART OF SOMETHING BIG.

We better turn it around quickly.

What do you expect when you got one guy taking all the shots no passing. Francis is straight up 2. If Rudy don't come to his senses and get a real pt guard this team will be nothing but average. Another solution would be to get a veteran Pt. guard to teach Francis how to play the pt. Kidd would work wonders for this team.

Damnit people! Why does it seem like ZRB, Jeff and me are the only ones who saw a complete lack of desire/determination out there tonight (except for Francis and Cato). I know we have forwards out of the game, but that has no bearing on the play of the active players. We had nine assists tonight, NINE! That ties a franchise low.

Last season didn't Torres put in 26 or 27 against the Pacers?

You do know that Francis played 2-guard tonight and it had no bearing on the outcome. Moochie started at the PG spot.

I want to rip into this team....I really do.

I want to say they were a mockery of everything that basketball represents.

But, I see the method behind the madness. Motion or no motion, your primary scorers will end up taking the shot 70% of the time. When you have no inside presence, logic tells you to cut off the middle man, go to the two man game, thus shedding yourself of any extraneous movement.

We're left with a pathetic product when the other team figures out how to stop it; we wish they would at least fail in a constructive manner, trying to implement the 5-man game regardless of personnel, but you're forced to take what is given.

Save the virulent words though.......like with Yao, the 2nd game is the real test for this team. If they don't come out and stomp a Denver Nuggets team that features Ryan "the Bowenator" Bowen in its starting lineup, then we can start worrying.

I agree Summit. I'm tired of people saying Francis didnt' pass enough. He passed plenty in the first quarter and got his teammates good shots. They didn't deliver. Then Francis started looking for his own shot more, and he was the only guy scoring with any consistency.

Steve played his heart out, and I was afraid people would start bashing him.

When Yao Ming was in the game many of the offensive sets had Yao Ming touching the ball, and either passing back out or making a move for the basket. The Pacer defense was strong, and Yao was stripped or the plays didn't work. But when Yao was out there they were running plays through him. The only one that was having any success was Steve Francis.
