I don't think that's a bad opening at all. At the very least they have one high-profile budding star, Curry. The new ownership group should be better than the last one, too.

Better situation than the Rockets for sure. At least you won't have to work for a dishonorable dog castrating coach slayer who treats human beings like assets.

Just filed to ESPN.com: Mike Brown and Dwane Casey will get two of the first interviews for Golden State's coaching opening. Link on the way

I whole heartedly agree with your 1st point. However, sports owners & GMs have always considered players as assets, possesions, property, etc. Morey is just the 1st to publically use the "asset" term in regards to players. Besides, "asset" refers to something or someone of value. Would you want Morey to trade for a player who wasn't valuable to the team?

Budenholzer isn't going anywhere. I'm pretty sure he has the Spurs job as soon as Pop leaves which will be very soon.

Their list is stronger than ours

If they get Sloan he'd get his ring within 8 years, book it.

This is a joke, right? He doesn't win a title in 23 seasons with Hall of Famers in Utah but he is going to win one in 8 years with Golden State?!?!

Will Sloan even be alive in 8 years?
