I think the Rockets will win tonight but it will be close. I HATE the 3 guard lineup....I don't think small teams can win consistantly. However, with Ming coming off the bench...I think the Rockets will prevail.

I also predict that Ming will have a good game....12+ points and 6 boards...2 blocks etc.....

    Rockets 91 Pacers 86.

I expect a balanced attack tonight, Rockets by 10 or 12.

I can't believe I've been concerned about whether or not Cato plays. But I hope he does. (something is wrong with me... it's the only explanation) Three guard offense?? What a trip!

    Rockets by at least one.

    It's the season, baby!! YEAH!!!

If Cato is out, and Rudy starts Collier, I will probably vomit all over the house.

I'm still not sure if Rice is playing or not. The Chron says yes, and Rockets.com says no. Could someone clear that up for me?

This is already a must-win game in my eyes. The Rockets have to show that they can dominate the east once again. The Pacers are a fringe eastern playoff team. This should be a relatively easy win, especially without Miller.

I can't believe it, but I am completely and totally nervous as hell!!!
    I have f***ing butterflies!!!

    Go Rockets!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Oh, and

    TES!!!

I think Ming will have a better than expected game. I think he'd actually do better against O'neal than against Brad Miller. We'll see:D !!! Here's to a big game by Griffin, too, and a convincing victory for the Rockets.

This is the worst thing I've ever seen you write Surfguy. That's god awful. I mean, the rolling of the eyes. Now that's unnecessary! We may, in fact, lose by 5. But, if your a Rockets fan for goodness sake, don't SAY it.

I believe the Rockets will win tonight. I'm really looking forward to seeing how Eddie Griffin does. I hope tonight is the start of a break-through season for him. I'm also interested to see how Yao does. From the little I've seen of him, he looks like he could be a pretty good player for the team. Anyway, GO ROCKETS. This is the start of a playoff season, I hope.

It's called reverse psychology. It's supposed to fire you up and lead us to a win. It seems to have worked. :)

I don't care what the final score is, as long as we win!!

BTW: Griff just got his first of 7 blocks tonight. And Cato has one as well. And Francis. Blocks for all-round for every Rocket!!

EDIT: Hmmm, Collier just came in for Cato.
