    Perfect setup for Borel, though. A field with no real killer horses, it seems.

    I sure would like to see a TC winner sometime before I die. Doesn't look like this is the year.

    Apparently Shackleford beat Dialed In in Florida on a sloppy track. Lots of experts are calling him the money bet, so he probably won't win. :)

    My strategies: Bet who won the Arkansas Derby (Archarcharch), whoever Cal Borel's riding (Twice the Appeal), and a little on a longshot with some wins (Comma to the Top).

    An all-day party. Two minutes of yelling, then asking what happened in the race that you didn't see.

    (I've never been to the Derby, but I have been to Churchill Downs on Derby week. That was the explanation I got.)

    Apparently it's a big deal to go to the Derby infield and Indy 500 infield three weeks apart.
