I said it before elsewhere but congrats man. You've had some rough times and I think you're owed some joy.
i echo this too. my sister went through the same thing that ima and his wife have gone through and they were rewarded with two amazing children.
Holy carp! Congrats...and good luck with that (the twins thing and the naming thing). I think you should go with Kareem and Jackson. They'll be falling down A LOT in the first few years.
Congrats to all the soon to be parents out there! Looks like that site also has a list for 'most hated' baby names. I don't think I've ever actually met a 'Jayden, Brayden, Kayden, Addison, etc.' in real life. Though I see them on stickers on the back of SUVs (usually accompanied by a soccer ball or a ballet dancer) all the time so obviously they are popular. Also never heard of 'Nevaeh' as a name, though I thought that was a character in AVATAR.
well done sir. With two boys, maybe you could sneak a cryptic Rudy t reference among them. Tom and John? : )
Congrats! Join BAMOM as soon as you can and get all the help you can in the first year - twins are too much for two adults to handle! Also, plan on doing everything you can to keep your wife off her feet in the last trimester. Weeks of bedrest got me to full term (and gave me time for the BBS - haven't had much time since )
We chose what we thought was a unique name for our daughter. It's also my grandmother's name. And it's on the list. And she has two close friends with the same name. Ima: Pete and rePete? Daryl and Daryl? Congrats on all the upcoming kiddos clutchfans. Going to be a lot of late night posting next season.
Thanks, didn't know you guys had twins. I'll have to remember that for when I need advice.. Wife is a teacher so summer vacay is right around the corner and that's right when the doctors (all 4 of them...) say she needs to start taking it easy. So the timing couldn't be better. Thanks to all for the well wishes. Going to be a stressful summer, but hopefully it will all be worth it in the end, TWSS.
Congrats man! I hadn't seen this before. My two iguanas in college were Hakeem and Mutumbo (Before he played for us)and we called their terrerium "The Summit". I also had a water dragon named Clyde. I did get my son a sports referencing name, but not one that many in Houston would get. Nile. Not many people name their kids after Heisman winners from the 30's these days... Daughter's name was actually hard. We ended up naming her for a family friend who took care of me when I was a baby. June.
