Spur's fan perspective. Duncan was way off last night, terrible game for him. Parker had some bad luck. Early he had some nice drives to the basket and blew a couple of easy lay-ups and it went down hill from there. Good news was while he went 0 for 10, almost everything he put up had a chance to go in. On the bright side for the Spurs were the play of Claxton and in particular Ginobili. Both are SOLID on defense. Claxton is a killer in the open court and on fast breaks. Ginobili is SMART. Great off the ball defender. He had a number of steals including off Kobe and 2 or 3 deflections that forced LA to take bad shots with the shot clock winding down. He's heady and reads the passing lanes extremely well. Did a decent job on Bryant on on the ball defense a couple of times and got burned bad a couple of times. Great court vision and great passing. He's going to make Duncan very happy with some nice dishes this year. Creative finisher around the basket. Needs to show a much better long range jumper. All this AND he's still not 100%, said he didn't really get a chance to show the Staple's Center the real Manu. His push off on his first step and his jumping aren't there because the ankle still hurts. btw in an interview a couple of weeks ago Pop said Manu was at about 60% and that was after he played Houston. He was the difference in a sloppy when and already played crunch time and was a big producer. So far so good for the Spurs.

Finally can the Rockets beat the Spurs if the Spurs play the way they did last night. For sure unless the Rockets have an eqaully crappy night. Can the Rockets beat the Spurs if they're both on top of their games. That's what the season is all about and thank God it's started. :D

Well, what is the excuse for last night's game against Warriors? Back to back? Then why did Cleveland and Phili win? Those Spurs look vunerable.

Last night, with the lack of Coaching and organised Team Basketball, any Team that ever existed in the NBA could have beeten the Rockets! There was only one highlight-Catos Rebounding!

I am not talking about the rockets, I am talking about the spurs. The rockets had five players missing. The Spurs have almost all of their guns and they got blown out. The point is, what is their excuse?
