I'm a DISH customer and I just downloaded this app onto my Android phone. It works GREAT! Now waiting for an Android Netflix app shouldn't be as hard. Pretty neat stuff, you should check it out if you're an HBO subscriber.

I was thinking about this- word of this may have been the final nail in the coffin for ATT's crummy substandard wireless network which caused them to initiate the T-Mobile talks.

No thank you. I will never pay for overpriced TV service plus overpriced crappy TV series and outdated movies plus an overpriced smart phone app.

Not worth the triple charge at all.

    App is free.

If you're good enough at the CSR game, you don't have to pay for HBO.

Yup, I mentioned this in the iPhone app thread. It's solid. I haven't seen The Wire yet and I'm making my way through Season 1 right now.

And here I thought getting HBO for Game of Thrones wouldn't have any other benefits.

Somehow, TimeWarner... yes THE TimeWarner... is not one of the providers offering support for HBOgo.

    Überlame.

This app is clearly better than any on-demand option for HBO out there.

Any word if they're going to release a version of the software that can be streamed to the tv? (either via xbox/ps3, or built-in with samsung blu-ray and hd tvs??)

    Uhh... yes it does.

It is available for comcast subscribers to HBO. Now, if you're talking about accessing "HBO GO" on your big tv, see my above post where currently you cannot do that on any service.

You can only get HBO Go on computers or mobile devices.

Yeah, I know. Oddly enough, when the app first came out, it kept redirecting me to the Xfinity App. However, now it works. Thanks anyways, I just tried it.
