I had met Dream a few months back (2 months ago I think) and asked him if he would be returning. He said yes (obviously) and I asked him how he felt, and he said he was alright. So, I hope that alright is good enough because for the Rocket's to even try to get 8th seed in Western Confrence, they'll need a healthy Dream do rely on. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Langhi at the buzzer.......YES!!! How Sweet It Is!!
i think that even with an unhealthy hakeem they can get better than 8th, dont underestimate the power of steve francis. ------------------
Is it me, or have the threads that have been posted by Junior Members become more and more r****ded? This thread, for example does not pose a question, and it doesn't say anything substantial. Dream saying he was "alright." could mean that he's doing alright physically..or that he's having a good day.. basically, it doesn't mean anything that we can put a finger on. Then we have steve posting threads that are totally incoherent. I only reply to this post to caution the rest of the new posters to think about what they have before they post. There's nothing more annoying than clicking on a thread that might be of interest and to find something quite the opposite. THINK! -elie17 ------------------
Is it me, or have the posts of Elie#17 become more and more horse****? Do you really think that because someones a junior member he just started watching basketball? Ever think that maybe they just didn't know about this site? When you first loged in to clutchcity, did you know anything about basketball? What makes you think people don't now? If you want to dog someone because you find fault with their post, cool get after it, but don't think you're better than anyone because you've got a couple of more posts than them. You need to get off your freakin highhorse my man. ------------------ "And On The 8th day god Created Basketball, And on the 9th He Created The Dream To Play It"
I'm with ya Elie17....Also, notice how the pippen a$$ kisser has 6 post and started three topics, all of with say the same thing? Sorry, but I cannot take him seriously until he changes his name AND learns what the shift key on his keyboard is for. ------------------
Damn dude. Chill Mario. I was only telling you what i heard because I thought it would be an interesting topic to talk about where the Dream's at right now and how he is physically. And by the way, i had asked him how he was doing physically. Geez. Cut me some slack. ------------------ Francis out top, 9 seconds on the clock, he gives a no look pass to Cuttino Mobley, 4 seconds left, Mobley passes to an open Langhi in the corner with 1 second left! Elie#17, not to start a fight but do you really think I care that I'm a junior member? Maybe I'm a junior member because I refrain from posting "retarted" comments. That being said, I saw Charles Barkley in vegas about 6 months ago and he said his leg was doing o.k. I mean if he wasn't retired we might need him and his o.k. leg to grab that 8th seed. ------------------
Elie, there are always enough bad threads to go around. OH! and thank you for making this one interesting. ------------------ I am so exasperated that I could expectorate.
I was told to expect this in the off-season, but I'm close to having a HeyPartner Moment. But I'm refraining rather well... Besides I know I add to the lunacy myself... ------------------ Just shut up and post
Ha ha hahahahaahaha!!! I'm telling you it has to be a full moon! ------------------ "I've been licking this carpet for hours and I still don't feel like a lesbian!" [This message has been edited by RocketsPimp (edited August 01, 2000).]
I miss all the interesting stuff on this channel . Which heypartner moment are you referring to DoD? Just to fan the flames *grins*... Elie does have a point, although he did go a bit too far. I know that my posts did improve after being on the board for a while... even if you know alot about basketball (not necessarily saying I do), sometimes it's just the clutchcity.net culture that one isn't quite synchronous with. And of course, there are those occasional junior members that we just have to ignore, and pray they leave soon. It does seem though that no matter how much basketball knowledge one has, one's posts do improve with time. Honestly though, everyone's posts are a little bit less relevant and interesting during the off-season, and it just makes sense that less experienced posters might suffer this a little more. Less brain-food . So, if you're a junior member who posts intelligently, don't be offended by the grumbling of vets... just sit back, and be annoyed like everyone else when someone posts a r****ded thread. Ah well... looking at my scroll-bar, I see I've babbled enough ! ------------------ [This message has been edited by haven (edited August 01, 2000).]
Oh cmon D0D, I want another heypartner moment. That was classic. ------------------ "Your not a real member of CC.net unless you have 1000 posts"
Alright, I cut you guys some slack, I didn't mean to refer to all Junior members as one united whole. However, I realize that there's a purpose to Clutch BBS, and it's to discuss topics that can be discussed. I don't honestly think that you've never watched basketbally before, however, I'm sure that with time, you'll realize the scheme of things. I'm only really picking on those first or second time posters, who haven't contributed anything but attempt to slander a player without having said anything good. i.e. "swiftrocket." Perhaps, it's just because I was used to EVERY post being virtually of interest during the season. btw, UTrocket.. Go Horns! -elie17 ------------------
