    B - I used a spreadsheet last year, too. It seemed to work OK, but it will be a pain in the butt at times. Also be advised the whole things is more work that it looks like on the surface. It can be somewhat time consuming posting the threads, putting the guesses in the spreadsheet, scoring them, posting the results, etc. But it is fun and everybody seems to enjoy it.

    At least I admitted where I got the idea from, though I'm sure nobody has a crazy scoring system like what I have. :D

    Yeah, I know it's going to be a lot of work! I may ask some people to help me out by starting threads or finding all people who got points. I'm only going to enter people who have points, so that make cut some of the work. Plus, I'm sure people are going to let me know that they had points if I messed up. People on this board are pretty honest when it comes to things like this.

    Speaking of honesty, if anyone edits their post after the deadline for entries (10 minutes before listed tipoff time), the prediction will be ignored.

    Yep, finding people to help out will definately make things go a little easier. There were a couple people I could count on start the thread if I missed it or figure out who won.

    We never had any problem with complaints, cheating, or other disruptions. You look like you have a similar group of people here, so I doubt you will have much of a problem either.

    Good luck, (but not in tomorrow night's game :)

    Guys,

    I emailled B about this earlier, but I've only just finished working on the pages.

    I've put a simple couple of pages on my website, so that people can register a username and password, and predict each game before it tips off. I know it's a bit more of a pain than just posting your predictions here, but it'd sure be a lot easier than keeping a spreadsheet.

    If people are interested, I'll work on a couple of statistical pages, so you can see your own score, and the top and bottom ten, and so on.

    Go to http://www.dreamshake.co.uk and click on the predictions link, if you think it's a good idea.

    Give me an email if you've got any suggestions, or have any problems.
