He's so raw and not a good team player... I love the kid cause he played at UK, but I don't want him on the Rockets.
Everytime I think I've finally seen the worst trade idea ever, another one pops up. Thanks for never letting me down Clutchfans.
In that case you should change the title to "Capitalizing on Houston". Because that is exactly what the OP is suggesting.
YEA!!! BUD GO LEEE STAY!! LEEE HAVE TO STAY...LEE IS MORE AGGRESIVE AND STRONG AND CAN DO WHAT BUD Does...Lee IS MY FAVORITE PLAYER ON THIS TEAM!!!!!!!!!!! LEE!!! AND Kmart!!!
This team is still mediocre. We will continue being mediocre while we have role players in starting positions. Please understand that this team won't go anywhere while Hayes is our starting center!!
but every guys think they can do the best trade, and they hope to tell the cluchfans the only dummy is Morey in the league
Should the oppertunity have arisen, you were ok with the Rockets drafting Cousins, even though he was a head case; because of the veteran leadership we have or had at the time. Granted Ortin isn't the player that Cousins is, but with our "bigs teachers" & d-league team; don't you think Ortin could turn into at least a serviceable solution to our center problem?
You do realize Morey turned down an offer from Chicago of two first round draft picks for Courtney Lee at the trade deadline.
I read that on clutchfans. Is that confirmed? I'm assuming one would be 2011 pick and Chicago had the league's best record. So that's almost equivalent to an early 2nd round pick (in a weak draft) + another 1st rounder in another draft which would be very late in first round too...Plus we have 3 picks in this draft already. My suggestion gets Brad off our books, takes Jordan Hill off our hands (he's not really a burden but I think we've seen enough of him). Clark is pretty talented and Orton is a project for sure. But we are more likely to get a serviceable center through trade and development then free agency IMO. We get Bass, which allows us to trade Scola (because Patterson / Bass is solid at PF). Scola can then be traded for a sg/sf or C or even both like the trade I suggested Scola for Childress and Lopez. Patterson/Bass/Lopez/Thabeet/Clark/Orton - I could live with that.
Is the OP suggesting a PF/C rotation of Hayes, Patterson, Bass, Tabeet, Orton and Clark? Is this even a lateral move?
wait so we trade away lee, get back a box of **** and our C position is still questionable? you my friend just won the fail game...
