Morey should be fired if he gives anything close to a max contract for Gasol. He's a good center - but a max contract would pretty much guarantee mediocrity for 5 years.
I have been eyeing Marc Gasol for the past year. If Morey gets him that would be an excellent move. It is exactly what the Rockets need but to contend for a title we still need a "Tony Allen" or "Trevor Ariza" - like small forward hands down. Btw, Ill take Bogut over Gasol anyday. Make a move Morey, we are all waiting.

Personally, i think they should pursue Nene. He should be ready to get out of Denver now. Nene would cost us half our team like D. Howard would.
Did they re-sign Zebo? If they haven't then Randolph's contract should be up this year as well. Zebo is gonna want a raise. What will the Grizz do? Spend on Zebo or spend on Gasol?
The Rudy Gay contract is insane. He's really proven his worth, or lackthereof, this offseason. What if we outbid Memphis, say, a 12 mil/yr contract or so, and use Marc as part of the package for Dwight?
I´d say around 8 millions a year sounds right. If we really, really want him we might go up to 10. No more... but I don`t think we can get him for under 8 - and I think he is worth it!
Get Gasol at any cost! If we can pay $20 million for 3 inefficient scrubs jeffries,battier, and miller.
Gasol only started to play better when Randolph began playing like an All-Star. Would he have the same effectiveness beside Scola or PPat?
At this point, with the way Gasol is playing, i think it would be safe to assume that he will be shown a max contract this offseason.
