Detroit just got the best two linemen to come out of college in the past 5 or so years lined up beside each other. I think that makes them Super Bowl contenders.

Why are we going for high character guys who are subpar athletes?

How did Kareem Jackson work out?

We need low character guys like Cushing.

    Now we are talking.

Is it only the first round tonight?

Phillips said Watts is an "organizational pick."

What does that mean? He was out-voted by Smith, Kubiak, and McNair?

Sounds like it was a consensus pick.

    (read: safe choice, high character)

Probably meant the whole organization agreed on the pick.

Watt is a good athlete for a 6'6'' 290 guy. And he seems to have a desire to play hard, unlike KJack.

We needed a Beast pass rusher and we didn't draft one.

Theres a difference between playing hard and flat out not having the speed nor skills. I think jackson is the latter. Youre judging the guys motivation, but when they thow you out there to the lions ala David Car, your faith has already been decided for you.

Hmmmm, so much for Ric's theory that Wade was brought here to have complete control of the defense. The season hasn't even started yet and he's already being outvoted by Dumb, Dumber, and Dumbest. LOL.

No we already picked a corner last year in the 1st round, and how did that work out???? We SHOULD HAVE TRADED UP TO GET PETERSON, but since we didn't they should have gone with Fairley or Quinn.

WOW what a great fanbase we have, if you say anything positive, your a homer, what happened to actually supporting your team, instead of acting like whiney emo crybabies, this city doesn't deserve anything good, what a terrible fanbase

We found a way to sneak in a tight end (go figure) - this guy is a great, great, exciting, game-changing, COLLEGE player. He doesn't fit in a 3-4 IMO. Never thought of him as an NFL talent, then again, I thought Von Miller was undersized about 90 days ago.

I like the guy. But I'd take the 4-3 and Fairley over him any day. Can't believe Fairley and Suh are on the same team. Sheesh.

We've drafted defensive lineman just about every single year in the first round. Other than Mario, how has that worked out?

Specifically, how have our white de's worked out?

Babin? He made the pro-bowl last season. Who cares about ethnicity? Dude has a 36" vertical and is definitely super athletic.
